This tutorial shows how to initialize and use the SteelSeries Sonar overlay by setting a hotkey. The Sonar overlay does not appear by default, it only initializes once a volume shortcut is pressed.

Go to SteelSeries settings:

Enable Sonar option:

Go to Shortcuts in Sonar settings and set a key for Master - Volume Up, example set F1:

After assigning a hotkey, press it to initialize the Sonar overlay. Once triggered, the volume overlay will appear on screen top right and Sonar overlay will be active.
