How to Set Up ISLC (for 16 GB Users)

Last updated on Oct 14, 2026

This guide sets up Intelligent Standby List Cleaner (ISLC). It can fix the cheat disappearing while you play: one of our staff members made this fix and it has helped several customers. Adjust the settings to your own PC specs.

Install ISLC

Download ISLC from the official page: wagnardsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1256

  1. Create a folder

Make a new folder anywhere you can find it again.

  2. Extract the download

Put the downloaded file in that folder and extract it there.

  3. Start the program

Run ISLC from the extracted files.

Recommended settings

Only Free memory is lower than depends on your PC. Set everything else as follows:

Setting Value
Wanted timer resolution 0.50
Enable custom timer resolution Yes
Use GlobalTimerResolutionRequests Windows 11: Yes. Windows 10: No
ISLC polling rate (ms) 500, or 250 if your PC is strong
The list size is at least 1024
Free memory is lower than Half your RAM in MB, see below

You can purge the standby list manually with Purge Standby list. If a program you don't want purged gets closed, add it to Exclusion.

Free memory value

Use half your RAM in MB: RAM in GB ÷ 2 × 1024. Example with 16 GB: 16 ÷ 2 = 8, then 8 × 1024 = 8192.

RAM Free memory is lower than
16 GB 8192
24 GB 12288
32 GB 16384
64 GB 32768
128 GB 65536

Fix the timer resolution

If Current timer resolution does not show 0.5 (for example 0.997 or 0.499), do the following:

  1. Open CMD as administrator

Search cmd in the Start menu, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

  2. Run the commands

Type each command and press Enter after each one:

    • bcdedit /set useplatformtick yes
    • bcdedit /set disabledynamictick yes
  3. Restart your PC

Check ISLC again: Current timer resolution should now show 0.5.
