How to Successfully Request a HWID Reset
This guide explains how to request a Hardware ID (HWID) reset from Kernaim and what you need to provide so the request
can be approved quickly.
Request form
HWID resets are requested through a dedicated form at https://kernaim.to/hwid-reset.
Required information
Every HWID reset is verified manually, so the form requires accurate information and a proof of purchase. Have the
following ready before you start:
| Item | What to provide | Why | | --- | --- | --- | | License key | Your unique product key. | Must be the active
license key that needs the reset. | | Email address | The email address used when the license was purchased. | Needed to
verify account ownership. | | Reason for HWID reset | A clear and detailed explanation of why the reset is needed. | The
reason must be valid (hardware change, system reformat, component failure). Every request is checked. | | Proof of
purchase | A screenshot of the purchase confirmation email you received. | Confirms that you own the license. |
Submission guidelines
Follow these guidelines to maximize the chance of approval and avoid delays.
Give a valid reason
The Reason for HWID Reset field is the most important part of the form. Avoid vague answers. Examples of valid reasons:
- "I replaced my motherboard due to a hardware failure."
- "I performed a complete reformat of my operating system, and the HWID changed."
- "I upgraded my processor (CPU), and the license is no longer recognized."
Provide a complete proof of purchase
The proof of purchase is your guarantee of ownership. Make sure the screenshot of the purchase email shows:
- The sender's email address (Kernaim or the payment processor).
- The date of purchase.
- The order number or transaction details.
- The license key, if visible.
Rules
Kernaim enforces strict rules for HWID resets to protect the integrity of the licensing system.
Warning: All HWID resets are verified manually by the team. Any abuse or attempt at fraud results in the permanent
deletion of the license key. Key stealing and key sharing are strictly prohibited.
By clicking Submit HWID Reset Request, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and that the information
you provided is truthful.
