Call of Duty Legit Aim Settings

This guide explains what you can and cannot do to cheat safely in Call of Duty. The settings below are the parameters we consider legit and safe. You can adjust them to fit your playstyle, but using values lower than the ones suggested puts you at risk of being banned more quickly. How bans work in Call of Duty 1. Reports lead to a manual review (shadowban) Being reported too many times raises a flag in the anti-cheat and your account is manually reviewed. This is the shadowban. If your gameplay looks too suspicious, your account receives a permanent ban when the shadowban ends. If your gameplay looks legit, the shadowban is lifted after about 7 days and you can play again. 2. Aggressive settings lead to an AI review With aggressive settings, a flag is raised at some point and your gameplay is reviewed by AI. If it is deemed too suspicious, your account is permanently banned instantly. There is no shadowban in this case. Important: A ban caused by how you played is not a detection. A detection means the anti-cheat identifies the cheat as soon as it is injected, which causes mass bans across our entire user base. Before concluding that a ban was caused by a detection, review the settings you used and how you played. Aimbot settings The aimbot is the main feature that can lead to a ban, so it must be configured properly. Aim key This is the key you hold to activate the aimbot. We recommend two keys. - Aim key 1: bind it to LMOUSE (left mouse click). The aimbot then only locks on the enemy the moment you start shooting. This alone looks a lot more legit. - Aim key 2: optional. If you play a lot with snipers or shotguns, bind it to a side mouse button (Mouse 1 or Mouse 2). This improves aimbot efficiency for these guns. Warning: Never bind the aim key to RMOUSE (right mouse). The aimbot would lock on as soon as you scope in, which looks very suspicious when you are spectated. FOV The FOV is the area in which the aimbot scans for enemies. It is another very important setting that must be configured properly. A FOV higher than 40 lets the aimbot act on a bigger area, causing it to snap on random targets or on a target you did not intend to lock. This is a major red flag and will most likely trigger the server-side AI, causing a review and a ban. - 40 is a very good size: the aimbot works properly without snapping at random places. - 50 is the limit. It still looks good, but you are already risking your safety. Visibility check Always keep this option enabled, 100% of the time, so the aimbot never locks on players behind walls. Combined with ESP set to Visible only, this is the strongest setup for cheating in the most legit way possible. Aimbot smooth Smooth is the strength of the aimbot lock. It is the setting most people get wrong, and it is easy to understand: - Lower value: the aimbot locks faster and harder. - Higher value: the aimbot looks more natural and slower. Important: Smooth X 8 and Smooth Y 8 is not a legit setting, it is semi-rage. Never use the same value on both axes. X and Y must differ from one another so the aimbot curve looks more natural and less robotic. What we recommend: 1. Having at least a decent natural aim helps a lot. Relying solely on the aimbot will get you banned very quickly. 2. Keep both X and Y values above 15. 16 to 20 is the sweet spot: the aimbot still works very well and looks natural. Tip: If you set Smooth X to 20, always set Smooth Y either 2 values above or 2 values below to make the aimbot curve more legit. Note: Mouse DPI plays a significant role. With a very low DPI such as 600 or 800, you need to set the smooth very high, otherwise the aimbot sticks to the enemy like glue. Deadzone The deadzone is the area of the enemy hitbox in which the aimbot works without locking on one specific spot. Leave it at default or higher. 7.0 is a good value as well: the aimbot still locks well, but without the feeling of an instant lock. It looks more like natural aim where you hit random parts of the enemy hitbox. Video demonstration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZG1cdaFVjBA Dynamic FOV One of the best features available. It is the reason the standard FOV is set so low: the Dynamic FOV can then be increased to help in close-range fights. 145 is the sweet spot. It covers the entire enemy hitbox in close-range fights and increases aimbot efficiency. Recoil compensation This helps control the recoil of the gun. It is not a no-recoil feature and does not fully remove the recoil. Setting it to the highest value is pointless: the aim pulls down very hard and looks suspicious. We recommend a value between 20 and 40, which controls the recoil very nicely. Note: Recoil compensation does not work without the aimbot activated, and it only works while shooting at an enemy. Aimbone Never set the aimbone to a specific bone part: it would basically nullify the deadzone. Always set it to Nearest, so the aimbot locks on the part closest to your crosshair. Aim preference Always set it to 2D. The aimbot then locks on the nearest enemy within your crosshair, which makes it more effective and more legit-looking. ESP (wallhack) Many players assume that using only ESP will not get them banned. It will. Nobody can consistently avoid looking at a player behind a wall: it is a reflex, and sooner or later you will do it while being spectated. Your best option is the Visible only option. It only shows players that are visible to you, which looks extremely legit while still giving you plenty of enemy information. Aim parameters Note: These settings are for reference only. They are the values we consider legit and a good starting point; adjust them to your playstyle within the limits explained above. | Setting | Value | | --- | --- | | FOV | 40 | | Smooth X | 16 | | Smooth Y | 18 | | Deadzone | Default / 4.0 | | Dynamic FOV | 145 | | Recoil Control | 40 | | Aimbone | Nearest | | Aim Preference | 2D | | Aim Key | LMOUSE (always) | | Aim Key 2 | Mouse 1 or Mouse 2 (sniper) | Required flags | Flag | Status | | --- | --- | | Dynamic FOV | Required | | Visibility Check | Required | | Prediction | Recommended | Note: ESP: use the Visible only option for best results.

How to Set Up the Medal Overlay

This guide shows how to install and configure Medal.tv so its overlay can be used for injection. Only the overlay is needed: every recording feature stays off and Medal stays running, minimized in the taskbar. Important: The overlay must stay enabled, but Clip Settings, Video Overlay and Auto Clipping must all be disabled. Medal must be left running minimized in the taskbar, never closed. Step-by-step setup 1. Download and install Medal.tv Go to medal.tv, download the installer and complete the full setup. Launch Medal and log in or create an account. 2. Enable the overlay (keep this on) In the left sidebar, under App Settings, open the Overlay tab and set Enable Overlay to ON. This is the only setting that stays enabled. Overlay entry under App Settings in the Medal sidebar Enable Overlay toggle set to ON in the Overlay Settings 3. Disable Clip Settings Open Clip Settings in the left sidebar and set Capture Clips to OFF. Capture Clips toggle set to OFF in Clip Settings 4. Disable Video Overlay Open Video Overlay in the left sidebar and set both Video Overlay and Virtual Camera Captures to OFF. Video Overlay and Virtual Camera Captures toggles set to OFF 5. Disable Auto Clipping Open Auto Clipping in the left sidebar and set Auto Capture Events to OFF. Auto Capture Events toggle set to OFF in Auto Clipping 6. Disable all startup apps and restart - Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager. - Click the Startup apps tab. - Right-click every app listed and select Disable. - Restart the PC. This step is mandatory: the changes only take effect after a reboot. Inject After the restart: 1. Open Medal and log in Confirm Enable Overlay is still ON and every other setting from the steps above is still OFF. 2. Minimize Medal to the taskbar Go back to the main Medal tab and minimize the window. Do not close it. 3. Open the loader and inject Proceed with injection as normal. Important: Medal must keep running in the taskbar. Closing it completely breaks the fix: only minimize it. Checklist and troubleshooting | Page | Setting | State | | --- | --- | --- | | Overlay | Enable Overlay | ON | | Clip Settings | Capture Clips | OFF | | Video Overlay | Video Overlay, Virtual Camera Captures | OFF | | Auto Clipping | Auto Capture Events | OFF | - Follow the steps in order. Skipping any step will likely bring the same issue back. - Medal must be minimized to the taskbar, not closed. - If you use other overlay software, disable it as well: Discord, NVIDIA App (GeForce Experience), AMD Adrenalin, Steam.

How to Record the ESP

By default, GPU recording software only captures the active game window, which leaves out the cheat overlay. Turning on Desktop Capture lets your recordings include the ESP and every other on-screen visual. Note: Pick the section below that matches your GPU brand. The steps differ between NVIDIA and AMD. NVIDIA GPUs If you have an NVIDIA graphics card, use the NVIDIA App with desktop capture enabled. 1. Install the NVIDIA App Download and install the latest NVIDIA App from the official site: nvidia.com/en-eu/software/nvidia-app 2. Enable the NVIDIA Overlay - Open the NVIDIA App. - Go to the Settings page. - Set NVIDIA overlay to ON. 3. Open the overlay Press the default hotkey Alt + Z to open the NVIDIA Overlay. If the hotkey does nothing, check that the overlay is enabled in the NVIDIA App settings, then restart the app. 4. Open the overlay settings Click the settings (gear) icon at the top of the overlay. 5. Enable Desktop Capture - Open the option labeled Video Capture. - Turn on Desktop Capture. This makes the recorder capture the entire desktop instead of only the game window, which is what lets the overlay show up in playback. 6. Done Adjust the rest of your recording settings as you like. The ESP and all other visuals now show up in your recordings. AMD GPUs If you have an AMD graphics card, use the AMD Adrenalin software to enable desktop recording. 1. Install AMD Adrenalin Download and install the latest AMD Adrenalin from the official site: amd.com/en/products/software/adrenalin.html 2. Open the Record & Stream page - Launch AMD Adrenalin. - Click Record & Stream at the top of the window. - Open the Settings page of that section. 3. Enable Record Desktop Set Record Desktop to ON. This is the key setting: without it, the overlay does not appear in your recordings. 4. Switch the capture source - Click the Record tab. - Find the Controls section. - Change the source from Active Window to the display your game runs on. 5. Done Set the rest of your recording preferences (bitrate, resolution, hotkeys) as you like. The ESP and all other visuals now appear in your recordings. Troubleshooting Recordings still don't show the ESP - Make sure Desktop Capture (NVIDIA) or Record Desktop (AMD) is enabled, not just the regular game capture. - On a multi-monitor setup, check that the correct monitor is selected as the capture source. - Restart the GPU software after changing the setting. The overlay or hotkey doesn't open (NVIDIA) - Reopen the NVIDIA App and check that NVIDIA overlay is ON. - Make sure no other application uses Alt + Z. - Update the NVIDIA App to the latest version. No Record Desktop option (AMD) - Update AMD Adrenalin to the latest version. - Old Radeon Software versions do not include this feature: install Adrenalin instead. Performance drops while recording - Lower your recording bitrate or resolution. - Close background applications you don't need.
